Conference on oriental theatre begins at JU today

A four-day international conference on Towards Oriental Theatre Studies will begin at Senate Hall of Jahangirnagar University (JU) today.
Drama and dramatics department will organise the conference in collaboration with grant programme for intellectual exchange conference 2011-12, a project of the Japan Foundation for the celebration of 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and Bangladesh.
Japanese Ambassador in Bangladesh Shiro Sadoshima will attend the programme as the chief guest while Vice-Chancellor Sharif Enamul Kabir will inaugurate the conference at 9:30am.
