JU Day on Jan 12

Jahangirnagar University (JU) is going to celebrate its 41st anniversary on January 12 amid much enthusiasm and festivity on the campus.
The university authorities have planned a day-long programme on the occasion, termed as the JU Day, says a press release of the university yesterday.
On the day, the national and university flags will be hoisted at 10:00am in front of the business studies faculty.
Following this, a colourful procession will be brought with the participation of the present and former students, teachers and staffs of the university.
Later, a reminiscence programme will be held on the university amphitheatre (muktomancha) followed by a cultural extravaganza.
JU's various departments and institutions will also arrange separate reunion programmes for the former and current students and teachers.
