SC backs ACC

Supreme Court yesterday stayed till April 12 a High Court order that stayed Anti Corruption Commission's notice asking Abed Hasan Mahmood, son of the BNP government's state minister for power Iqbal Hasan Mahmood Tuku, to submit his wealth statement.
Chamber Judge of SC's Appellate Division Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain passed the order after hearing a leave to appeal petition filed by ACC against the HC order.
