Paracetamol intake harmful!

We have become very worried since the publication of a news about the harmful effects of Paracetamol and the faulty technique of its manufacturing. Paracetamol is commonly used in our country. Some of our renowned professors have mentioned that the present dose of paracetamol available in our country is not appropriate and they are very toxic. My question is who had approved this drug and how long will the people suffer for other people's crimes?
