Mahela 9th to 10,000

Experienced Sri Lankan batsman Mahela Jayawardene completed his 10,000 one-day runs during the third day-night international against Pakistan at Dubai stadium here on Friday.
The 34-year-old became the ninth batsman in all one-day internationals and second Sri Lankan behind former team-mate Sanath Jayasuriya to achieve the honour when he reached 13 during his knock of 17.
