Fake medicine factory

A mobile court on Monday sealed an illegal drug factory and jailed five people in Rajbari area of the district town. Police said the court led by executive magistrate Tasnin Jebin Binte Sheikh raided Bengal Ayurvedic Laboratories in the area and found syrups being produced in an unhygienic condition and without any chemist. Officer in-charge of Dinajpur police station Hasan Shamim Iqbal said the owner of the factory could not able to show certificates of Directorate General of Drug Administration and Bangladesh Standard Testing Institute (BSTI) for producing the drugs.
