Poet Raju Alim honoured

The Shamsur Rahman Smriti Puroshkar (memorial award) 2011 was conferred recently on poet and TV producer Raju Alim. Kobi Shangshad Bangladesh organised the award giving ceremony at Shawkat Osman Memorial Auditorium of Central Public Library, Dhaka, says a press release.
Veteran poet Mahadev Saha handed over the award to the promising poet. Poet Abu Bakkar Siddiqui, poet Shakil Ahmed, writer Rafiqul Haque (from Paschim Banga) and a number of other poets and writers attended the programme.
