Baros ever closer to move

Portsmouth manager Harry Redknapp expects to sign Czech Republic striker Milan Baros on loan from Lyon on Monday.
Redknapp moved for Baros because Nwankwo Kanu and John Utaka are on international duty at the African Nations Cup, while David Nugent suffered a groin injury in Saturday s 2-1 FA Cup fourth round victory over Plymouth.
The former Liverpool and Aston Villa striker should make his debut in Wednesday's Premier League match at Manchester United.
"With the boys at the African Nations Cup we are now down to one striker in Benjani Mwaruwari and we need Baros," Redknapp said. "He will be available for Wednesday."
