One sued for forging HC order

A suspected forger was sued yesterday on charge of making a fake anticipatory bail order of the High Court to 21 charge-sheeted murder accused.
Morsheda Begum, wife of main accused in a murder case Ayub Ali, sued Rezaul Islam Pramanik alias Rajon of Paschim Durgapur village of Sadar upazila with Sundarganj Police Station for preparing the fake order.
Detecting the forgery, the HC on Wednesday directed the authorities concerned to investigate the forgery and the persons involved.
Morsheda in her case statement said 21 accused in the murder case got four months' anticipatory bail from the HC in June. On expiry of the tenure, the accused wanted to appear before the HC for an extension of the anticipatory bail.
But as per suggestion of Abu Bakker of Sunderganj upazila, Rajon took the responsibility of managing a bail order from the HC in exchange for a good amount of money.
Accordingly, Rajon and Ayub left for Dhaka. On October 19 Rajon gave him a photocopy of an HC order of eight months' anticipatory bail in favour of the 21 accused.
Rajon also promised to Ayub that he would send the original copy of the HC order to Gaibandha court within three days, according to the case statement.
The accused on October 23 submitted a photocopy of the fake order to Gaibandha Chief Judicial Magistrate's court, which fixed November 10 for furnishing the bail bond after receiving the original HC order.
The murder case was filed with Sundarganj Police Station after Emdadul Haque Milon of Chandipur village in Sunderganj upazila succumbed to severe injuries at Dhaka Medical College Hospital on May 13, five days after he sustained the injuries in a clash over a piece of land.
Complainant of the murder case Abdur Rashid on October 23 came to know about the move for extension of the bail order. He then collected a copy of the order from Gaibandha and went to Deputy Attorney General ABM Altaf Hossain, who placed the document before an HC bench on Wednesday.
The 21 fugitive accused are Ayub Ali, Jobbar Hossain, Abdul Matin, Abul Jalil, Angur Miah, Abdur Rahman, Aminul Islam, Sadek Ali, Sabuj Miah, Abdul Khaleque, Saiful Islam, Aynal, Abu Bakkar, Toslim, Harun Mia, Minta Mia, Khokon Mia, Royes Uddin, Md Saiful Islam, Saju Haji and Md Abdul Jalil of Chandipur and adjacent villages.
