Siddikur slides

Bangladesh golf star Siddikur Rahman dropped down to 39th position with a two-over-par second round at CIMB Asia Pacific Classic in the Malaysian capital of Kuala Lumpur yesterday.
The 27-year old, who started the round on joint 12th position with an opening round of 68, failed to carry that touch into the second round. Siddikur bogeyed in the fifth hole of to end the front nine on one-over-par. Siddikur again bogeyed in the 11th hole and failed to hit a birdie throughout the round, ending the back nine at one-over-par as well.
However, three-under-par first round in the 71-par golf course meant he was still one-under-par, trailing the leader Jeff Overton of USA and Fredrik Jacobson of Sweden by 12 shots.
“This golf course is so much fun to play. It's really challenging. If you're hitting it great, you can have scoring opportunities. I'm just having a blast.”
Fellow American Bo Van Pelt was in third, a shot behind, after he carded a 64.
Former world number one Vijay Singh surged into contention with an impressive seven-under-par 64 to add to his 72 on the first day, leaving him tied 13th.
