Qulkhwani of veteran politician Nuruddin Jahed Manju will be held in King of Chittagong club on October 29 (Saturday).
He passed away at his residence in the port city on Tuesday due to cerebral hemorrhage at the age of 64, said a press release.
He was buried at the family graveyard in Halishahar after his first namaz-e-janaza at Jamiatul Falah mosque and second namaz-e-janaza at his ancestral home in Halishahar yesterday.
Manju, central vice-president of Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal, was the eldest son of East Pakistan District Awami League president MA Aziz who was the first expounder of the one-point demand --'independence of the country'.
He was also a professor of Department of Management in Chittagong University.
He left behind his wife, two sons and a host of relatives and well-wishers.
