4 DU students to get mountain training in Nepal

Four students of Dhaka University will fly to Nepal on October 24 to get training on mountain climbing so that they can conquer Mount Everest by 2014.
Guided by first Bangladeshi conqueror of Everest, Musa Ibrahim, the DU students will receive advanced training there, Vice-chancellor Prof AAMS Arefin Siddique said at a press conference at DU old senate building on Thursday.
"The initiatives for mountain training have been taken to enable DU students to conquer Everest within 2014", he said, adding that several sponsors will fund the mission.
Two Bangladeshi nationals, Musa Ibrahim and MA Muhit, conquered Mount Everest respectively on May 23, 2010 and on May 21, 2011.
