Here are some comments that came in response to Thursday's The Daily Star news report headlined “PM blames it on BNP govt's graft”.

Strange thing is happening in digital Bangladesh. The name of the communications minister during BNP regime has been digitally changed to the name of communications minister of AL regime transferring the corruption blame from BNP to AL.

Another unfortunate and careless comment from the premier. All she is saying show her desperate acts to hide the facts.

When shame knows no bound, ethics and morals get asleep, conscience dips down the earth and only then opinions of the majority commoners could be dumped under garbage by the powerful.

Now the PM is making people fool. A responsible person cannot say such falsehoods to her country and people. Please learn to respect people's wisdom.

What an interesting statement! Will not be surprised if we see somebody blames that World Bank suspended the funds due to the corruption of a minister who was in charge during the Pakistani period.

So in times of deep public unease and discomfort over the rising price of commodities, the lack of basic services, and a collapsing infrastructure, this is what the PM tells the nation. This is a partisan leader of a political party, not the leader of a whole nation.

Apart from stock market scandal, AL government serves the best for the nation. On the other hand, our opposition is party looking forward to bring back the era of corruption.

Interesting conversations between two leaders created and maintained by dynastic legacy and the media. They do not need to sit face to face or to use last week unveiled Apple's iPod to see their picture while giving sermon to their respected followers.

Strange thing is happening in the world. The communications minister during BNP government was involved in corruption and the letter sent to him changed name to Abul Hossain and that is the reason the present government is not getting Padma Bridge fund. The letter was sent from World Bank office and while it was traveling by mail, suddenly the name was changed like a magic. In what time of history are we living?

Sheikh Hasina should not tell the same thing again and again. All people know that Tarique and Koko were tremendously corrupt during BNP-Jamaat regime. They were punished by interim government and are still being punished that they do not dare to come to face the court.
The important thing for Sheikh Hasina is to take a good decision about the communications minister who has been blamed not only by Bangladesh media but also WikiLeaks. So, please take action before it is too late.

When Sheikh Hasina, the Prime Minister of Bangladesh, stated that the corruption charges were against the then BNP minister for communications, she is challenging the intelligence of the people of Bangladesh. The intelligence of people who voted AL to power have been degraded by this statement. The finance minister spoke on this issue several times, but he never mentioned that corruption charges were related to the former BNP communications minister. Being the Prime Minister how could she mislead the people like this? I think the media should come in here and let the people know what was the real situation. People have the right to know the truth.
