BSF School team arrives today
A team of 25 Indian Border Security Force (BSF) School students arrives in Jessore today on a six-day tour.
"The tour is part of the initiatives to strengthen friendship between the two neighbouring nations," said Mohammad Sazzad Haider, public relations officer of Bangladesh Rifles (BDR).
He said BDR will also arrange similar trips to India in future.
After crossing Benapole border, the team will visit Lalan Shah's Mazar and poet Rabindranath Tagore's house Kuthibari in Kushthia today.
The team members will travel to the Sundarbans tomorrow and visit the national memorial at Savar the next day, said a BDR press release.
They will visit Bir Shreshtha Nur Mohammad Rifles Public School and College, Rifles Museum, ISD School, National Museum, and Bashundhara City and participate in various sports including basketball and badminton at RSB field at Pilkhana on January 29.
