HRPB London body formed

A 21-member committee of Human Rights and Peace for Bangladesh (HRPB) was formed in London on September 29 with Rahmat Ali as convener and Aminur Rahman and Shafiqul Huq joint conveners.
HRPB has been moving a number of public interest litigations before the High Court and Appellate Divisions of Supreme Court for protecting human rights and environment in Bangladesh, says a press release.
HRPB President Manzill Murshid was present on the occasion.
