Next polls under EC: Modasser

Prime Minister's Health and Social Welfare Adviser Dr Syed Modasser Ali yesterday said the next general election will be held under the Election Commission, not under any caretaker government.
"The BNP knows this. But they are waiting for requests and mediation of the Election Commission," he said while speaking as the chief guest at a workshop on eye care for journalists at DRU.
National Eye Care and Ingo Forum jointly organized the workshop with NEC Director Dr Dween Mohammad Nurul Haq in the chair.
