Pension of sub, zila-registrars postponed
The government postponed proceedings regarding pension of all sub-registrars and zila-registrars exempted by the now defunct Truth and Accountability Commission (TAC) as Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) initiated proceedings against them.
“As those who went to TAC are currently under ACC scrutiny, all proceedings in this regard will remain postponed until the matter is disposed of,” said a press release issued by law, justice and parliamentary affairs ministry yesterday.
The order comes a day after the anti-graft watchdog announced initiation of legal proceedings against all the 448 people who confessed before TAC of their corruption and surrendered their ill-gotten wealth in exchange for clemency.
