Schoolboy drowns in river Kirtankhola

Body of a schoolboy, who drowned in the river Kirtankhola, was recovered in Bhatarkhal area in Sadar upazila yesterday afternoon.
The deceased was identified as Ovi, 10, a Class III student of a local primary school and son of Lalchan, a resident of Bhatarkhal slum.
Family sources said Ovi went missing when he was bathing in the river at 11:30am. The body was recovered from under the Launch Ghat pontoon about 2:30pm.
