Lailatul Qadr-the glorified night

Qadr means honour and dignity. One can be honoured and dignified by doing ibadat (prayer) in this night. The holy Quran was revealed in this night. Jibrail (AS) descends to the world accompanied by a group of angels and they pray to Allah for the salvation of those Muslims who prays to Allah in this night.
The exact date of this significant night remained uncertain. The messenger (pbuh) said, “Search Lailatul Qadr in the last ten days of Ramadan”. More specifically, he said, “find it in the odd number of last ten days of Ramadan”. So the Muslims spontaneously involve themselves in prayers during this holy night to get Allah's favour and kindness.
