Koica trains 15 Bangladeshis
Korea International Cooperation Agency (Koica) will train 15 Bangladeshi officials and village leaders on rural development strategies in Korea for two weeks beginning today.
The training was designed to provide knowledge on policy, strategy and methodology of rural and social development, says a press release.
They would also learn how people's participation in such development through “Saemaul Undong”, a successful community development model in Korea, can be achieved.
Of the participants, five are officials from Bangladesh Rural Development Board, one is an official from Bangladesh Academy for Rural Development and nine village leaders from different villages of Burichang upazila under Comilla district.
