3-year-old dies in road accident

A 3-year-old boy died in a road accident near Badar intersection on Patkelghat-Tala road in Tala upazila yesterday.
The deceased is Ismail Kaguji, 3, son of Abdur Rahman Kaguji of Islam Kati village of the upazila.
Police said a nasimon (improvised engine-run vehicle) knocked down Ismail while he was crossing the road around 12:00noon, leaving him seriously injured.
He succumbed to his injuries while being rushed to Satkhira Sadar Hospital, added police.
