Moenchengladbach go top
Borussia Moenchengladbach continued their storming start to the season with a Marco Reus double helping them to a 4-1 victory over Wolfsburg and top spot in the Bundesliga on Friday.
After beating Bayern Munich in the opening match of the season, Moenchengladbach came back from a goal down after Japanese midfielder Makoto Hasebe had given Wolfsburg the lead after 12 minutes.
Reus grabbed the equaliser three minutes later with a Filip Daems penalty and a Raul Bobadilla goal just before the break giving the hosts a comfortable half-time lead. Reus scored his second after 67 minutes.
Moenchengladbach are now one point ahead of unbeaten Mainz 05, who host Schalke 04 on Sunday and Hanover, who play Hertha Berlin the same day.
