Repair highways

Leaders of Workers Party of Bangladesh yesterday demanded immediate reconstruction of the damaged roads and highways to ease the sufferings of home-bound people on the occassion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
They said this at a launching ceromoney of a two-day long programme of the party at its central office in the city.
The discussants expressed shock at the deaths of people who were killed in road accidents including noted film maker Tareq Masud and journalist Mishuk Munier.
The party leaders Rashed Khan Menon, Bimal Biswas and Anisur Rahman Mallik among others were present at the programme.
