Trader stabbed to death

A trader was stabbed to death by criminals in Swadeshi Bazar area here yesterday evening.
The victim, Al Amin, 15, son of Anu Miah, was the proprietor of Al Amin Hardware Store at the bazar.
Police said a gang of criminals stabbed Al Amin while he was standing near his shop at around 6:00 pm, leaving him critically injured.
Amin was rushed to Mymensingh Medical College and Hospital (MMCH) where the doctors declared him dead.
The reason behind the killing could not be known immediately.
Contacted, officer-in-charge (OC) of Kotwali police station Golam Sarwar said police are looking for the culprits. None was arrested as of filing of this report at around 8:25 pm yesterday.
