11 shops fined

A mobile court yesterday fined 11 groceries shops Tk 76,000 for selling packed consumer items without showing the retail price, date of manufacture and expiry date.
The mobile court of the Consumers Rights Protection Directorate, led by its Deputy Directors Abul Hashem and Moniurzzaman, conducted the drive at Rayerbazar and Jatrabari areas.
Bangladesh Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (BCSIR), Directorate of Fisheries (DoF), Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) and Dhaka Metropolitan Police assisted the drive.
