Three killed, 18 injured in road crashes

Three persons were killed and 18 others injured in road accidents in Jhenaidah, Pabna and Chittagong yesterday, report our correspondents.
In Jhenidah, one person was killed and 12 others were injured as a bus rammed a human hauler at Keyabagan Bus Stand in Kaliganj upazila yesterday noon.
The victim is Selim Hossain, 34, son of Imam Mondol of Hazipur Mundia of the upazila.
The injured were rushed to Jessore and Kaliganj hospitals.
In Pabna, an unidentified man was killed and three others were injured as a speedy bus hit a CNG-run three wheeler on Dhaka-Pabna highway at Kashinathpur at about 1:30pm yesterday.
The injured persons were admitted to Santhia upazila health complex.
In Chittagong, one person was killed and three others were injured when a truck hit a microbus at Padua in Lohagara upazila at 5:00pm yesterday.
Mridul Das, 28, of Chakaria of Baro Muhuri Hindu Para, died at Chittagong Medical College Hospital at 6:25pm.
