Road crashes kill 2

Two people were killed and another was injured in separate road accidents in Narail and Brahmanbaria on Monday night and yesterday.
Our Narail correspondent reports: One man was killed and another seriously injured as a speedy motorcycle hit him while he was walking beside the Lahuria-Lohagara road at Lohagara upazila yesterday.
The deceased is Harunor Roshid, a freedom fighter, of Chachoi village, of Lahuria union.
The injured motorcyclist, Jewel, was admitted to Khulna Medical College Hospital.
Our Brahmanbaria correspondent says: One man was killed on the spot as a truck crushed him while he was crossing the Dhaka-Sylhet highway at Khariala village of Ashuganj upazila on Monday night.
The deceased is Abdul Hakim, 65, of Durgapur village, of the same upazila.
