USAID official visits Sidr-hit Morelganj

Mark S Ward, senior deputy assistant administrator for the Bureau for Asia and Near East for USAID, recently visited Sidr-hit Morelganj in Bagerhat district.
Mark, also the career minister in the Senior Foreign Service, went there to see the rehabilitation works done by different NGOs, including World Vision Bangladesh that received funds from US Agency for International Development (USAID), says a press release.
During his visit, Mark met the disaster victims at Amtoli and Kumarkhali villages and observed some ongoing rehabilitation and reconstruction efforts carried out by World Vision, World Food Programme, and the International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies. USAID Bangladesh Mission Director Denise Rollins accompanied him during the visit.
