Bangladeshi doctor honoured

Prof Dr Mohammad SI Mullick, an eminent Bangladeshi psychiatrist, has been selected as the winner of Asian Family Health Research Award, says a press release.
He received the award from Iranian Academic Centre for Education, Culture and Research at the 4th Asian Family Health Congress in Tehran recently.
Prof Mullick has been selected for this highly prestigious award from among 488 researchers from Asia and the Middle East for his outstanding epidemiological research on children and adolescent mental health problems in Bangladesh.
Currently, he is a professor of child and adolescent psychiatry at the Department of Psychiatry, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU), Dhaka.
