Selim Al Deen's death condoled

Teachers and students of Music and Drama Department of Rajshahi University yesterday brought out a mourning procession on the campus at the death of legendary drama icon Selim Al Deen.
Later, at a condolence meeting held at the department with Chairman Krisnapada Mondol in the chair, the speakers said Selin Al Deen was a bright star in the history of the country's theatre movement and his death has caused an irreparable loss to the country's literature.
Remembering his contribution to education, research and cultural activities in Bangladesh, they prayed for salvation of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to his bereaved family members.
RU Anushilon drama group President Prof Moloy Kumar and different culture organisations also condoled death of the drama prodigy.
