Youth held with revolver

Police arrested a youth with a revolver and five bullets from Kathalbaria area in the town on Wednesday night. The arrestee, Sultan Mahmud, 24, is son of Taiyub Ali of Ulipur village under Junaidanga upazila of Kurigram. Locals caught Sultan with the revolver when he was moving suspiciously in the area. Being informed, police rushed to the spot and arrested him.
