Baby Zinc Sonamoni to be aired on BTV every Tuesday
From now on, a child health show titled 'Baby Zinc Sonamoni' will be aired on Bangladesh Television (BTV) on every Tuesday at 7:30pm to disseminate information about various issues related to child health.
The programme will deal with children's physical and mental health along with their surrounding environment.
Popular artiste Tania Ahmed is the host of the show.
At a press conference organised by Dhansiri Media Production House at the National Press Club the speakers informed that the programme would highlight the use of zinc with saline for children under five.
It is a part of ICDDR,B's Suzy Project.
Baby Zinc Sonamoni will cover a large variety of topics like environment, entertainment, education, diarrhoea, hygiene, nutrition, zinc, vaccination, junk food, sports, and population density, they added.
The speakers said every episode of the programme will consist of experts' opinion and the interview of celebrity couples.
Besides, there will be a lifestyle guide section in the show to inform about various commodities that a child needs.
National Professor Dr M R Khan, Director of Dhaka Shishu Hospital Prof Selim Shakur and Marketing Director of Acme Laboratories Md Rafiqul Islam were present on the occasion.
