BCB on right track with coach hunt

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) are in preliminary talks with potential head coaches of the Tigers.
The deadline for dropping applications ended yesterday and BCB CEO Manzur Ahmed said that the process of interviewing coaches will begin soon.
"There is a line-up of names in front of us and that process will begin. We will initiate preliminary talks with the coaches soon," said Manzur.
He also added that the list is a mixture of coaches who have applied and those the BCB have pursued.
"It is unpredictable to tell exactly when we can finish the process but we will try to end it by June 15. If there is no disaster, everything seems to be going smoothly and the quality of the coach looks okay," he said.
It was learned that the shortlist includes former Australian batsman Stuart Law, the current caretaker coach of Sri Lanka. Law fits the bill as far as BCB is concerned due to his stature as an international coach and also the board's inclination for an Australian.
