Jahanara Imam wrote a total of 26 books including the widely acclaimed “Ekatturer Dinguli” (Days of 1971), and several articles on trial of war criminals and spirit of War of Liberation in various newspapers.
Mother of martyred freedom fighter Rumi, Jahanara Imam breathed her last after struggling with cancer for long in USA in 1994.
Different branches of the committee organise discussions at home and abroad. However, the central discussion would be held at BILIA auditorium on May 12 due to unavoidable reasons, the release adds.
