Kite festival by Cubic Art School

Youngsters at the workshop with kites

Like the last few years, Cubic Art School is organising a Kite festival this year as well, says a press release.
According to the school sources, the festival is an attempt to encourage the tradition of kite flying among the youngsters.
This year, the workshop for the festival includes four groups -- 'Chokhdar', 'Pankhidar', 'Kauthadar' and 'Maladar'. Each group includes students of Institute of Fine Arts, Dhaka University and kite experts from Old Dhaka.
The kites will be flown in Dogon, Gazipur on January 11.
