190 urea sacks seized in Bogra

Police seized 190 sacks of urea fertiliser from Saharpukur under Dupchachia upazila on Sunday night and arrested two persons in this connection.
The arrestees were identified as Abdul Majid of Shree Krishtapur under Akkelpur upazila in Joipurhat and Saher Ahmed of Dupchachia.
Majid, driver of the truck carrying the fertiliser, said it was being taken to Atrai in Naogaon from Chittagong.
Ahsan Habib, officer-in-charge (OC) of Dupchachia Police Station said a patrol team of police seized the truck while it was standing at the Saharpur bus stand.
The fertiliser was being taken for smuggling.
