Woman killed by husband

A woman was strangulated allegedly by her husband at the capital's Pallabi yesterday.
Salma Begum, 26, wife of Shafiqul Islam, along with her minor son used to stay at her sister's house as Shafiqul did not bear any expenses of his family, said her nephew, Mosharraf.
Victim's sister Ruma said Safiqul came to Pallabi on Saturday night. Around 8:00am Ruma found the couple's room locked from the outside and found the body on the bed after breaking the lock.
