A dance and song competition titled 'Dipshikha' was held on April 4 at Shilpakala Academy Auditorium in Panchagarh.
Deputy Commissioner of Panchagarh Banamali Bhoumick inaugurated the competition as chief guest.
The inaugural session followed a discussion with regional manager of BRAC, Mostafizur Rahaman, in the chair.
Among others, District Education Officer SM Moslemuddin; representative of BRAC, Suresh Chandra Roy and officer of Panchagarh BRAC Education Programme, Chinmoy Kumar Dev Sharma, addressed the gathering.
Unprivileged children are being educated under the BRAC Education Programme, officials said at the discussion.
The competition was organised under the programme where 64 students of different BRAC schools in Panchagarh district participated in different groups.
