Rapist gets life

A tribunal here on Sunday sentenced a man to life term imprisonment for violating a physically challenged girl at Saralia village in Morelganj upazila in 2009.
The convict was identified as Shahidul Sheikh, 30, son of Mohammad Shiekh of the village. The tribunal also fined him Tk 5,000, in default, he is to suffer six months more RI in jail.
