Bangladeshi scientist stabbed to death in China
A Bangladeshi scientist was stabbed to death by an unknown assailant at a dormitory of North-West A and F University campus in Sanji province of China on Friday night.
The deceased was identified as Md Khairul Alam, 32, son of Md Akimuddin of Keshabpur in Jessore.
Khairul, a scientist of Bangladesh Agriculture Research Institute (BARI), Gazipur, was doing his PhD at North-West A and F University.
The assailant stabbed Khairul with a sharp knife leaving him dead Friday night at a dormitory of the university, BARI sources said.
BARI Director General Md Rafiqul Islam expressed his deep shock at the death of Khairul Alam.
