Narsingdi tragedy

The recent train accident in Narsingdi snatched away at least twenty lives leaving another two hundreds injured. I would rather call it tragedy than accident considering its fatality. The government declared a small amount of money to the deceased's family as compensation.
But the authorities haven't taken any prudent or concrete measures to avoid such occurrences in the future. The government, especially the communications minister, should not have shirked his responsibility. He should have set a rare example by resigning from his position.
