Shohag’s ode to nature

Paintings by Shohag Parvez.

Shilpangan Contemporary Art Gallery has organised a solo exhibition of artist Shohag Parvez. The exhibition began on December 12 and will continue till December 26.
Shohag has a niche for highlighting the serene splendour of nature, riverine life, cloudy skies and hilly areas. He believes that we are all part of nature, but some closely observe it with intense passion.
The painter concentrates on the consistency of colours, rough textures and incredible features. For their unique application on the canvas, the colours come across as vibrant and the forms as well as compositions seem beautifully embellished.
Noted painter Hashem Khan inaugurated the exhibition. Historian Muntasir Mamun was present as special guest at the opening and acclaimed architect and critic Shamsul Wares presided over it.
