BNP rally at Muktangon today

Opposition BNP will hold a rally at the city's Muktangon today to press home its demands including arrest of price hike of essentials, end to crisis of public utility services and worsening law and order.
The demonstration was also designed to protest missing of DCC ward councillor Chowdhury Alam, killing of upazila chairman Sanaullah Noor Babu, filing of false cases and attack on opposition leaders, agreement allowing a foreign country to use transit, corridor and ports, killing of Bangladeshis in border areas and India's move to construct Tipaimukh Dam and 'illegal eviction of' Khaleda Zia from 'her own residence'.
