Kenya opposition leader confident of victory
Kenya's main opposition candidate said on Tuesday he was confident of victory in closely-fought presidential elections this week, saying he believed Kenyans would "vote for change".
Final opinion polls gave Raila Odinga, a flamboyant 62-year-old former political prisoner, a slight edge on President Mwai Kibaki, the 76-year-old seeking a second and final presidential term in Thursday's vote.
"We have done all that was humanly possible in these campaigns given the constraints that were there," Odinga told reporters after attending Christmas mass in the capital Nairobi.
