Ajax skipper Luis Suarez's neck-biting attack on a PSV player has cost him dear with the Dutch Football Federation (KNVB) banning the Uruguay international for seven domestic games on Wednesday.
The suspension means Suarez will be sidelined until February 4.
The KNVB's punishment will run concurrently with the two match ban already handed out to Suarez by his club which also levelled a "heavy fine" on the forward.
