Alhaj Abdul Halim Suruj

Alhaj Abdul Halim Suruj, a freedom fighter and son of late Amjad Ali Moral of Auka Madhya Para in the district town, passed away due to a cardiac arrest at Mymensingh Medical College Hospital (MMCH) yesterday at the age of 52.
Halim was the deputy commander of Muktijoddha Sangsad District Command and vice president of Town Defence Party Central Unit.
He left behind his mother, wife, one son and one daughter.
He was buried at his family graveyard with state honour.
