Export-import thru' Benapole port resumes

Export-import between Bangladesh and India through Benapole land port resumed yesterday. Activities at the port remained suspended since Thursday morning due to Durga puja.
Aminul Islam, deputy director of the port, said a huge traffic jam was created in the port area as several hundred trucks loaded with goods, including perishable items, remained stranded on both sides of the border for the last four days.
