Repressed journalists' body formed

Repressed Journalists' Committee was formed with journalist Saleem Samad as convener and Barun Bhowmik Nayan the member secretary on Thursday, says a press release.
The committee was formed to press different demands including trial of the persons responsible for torture, harassment and filing false cases against journalists during the last BNP-Jamaat alliance government and realisation of compensation for the victims.
