Khulna Baro Bazar traders call off strike

Khulna Baro Bazar businessmen called off their indefinite strike yesterday following a meeting with handling workers with Businessmen's Alliance Committee (BAC) Convenor Kazi Aminul Hug in the chair.
Leaders of Handling Workers' Union, who were present in the meeting, agreed to resume work on condition that shop owners would pay their wages and dues properly and stop bringing false allegations against them.
BAC Leaders, on the other hand, wanted workers to be reasonable in demanding their wages, dues and sincere in their work. Both sides signed an agreement in this regard expressing their commitment to work together.
