Divisional drama workshop ends

A four-day Khulna divisional drama workshop ended in Kushtia on Sunday.
Bangladesh Group Theatre Federation (BGTF) organised the event, at the Kushtia Shilpakala Academy Hall.
Ranjit Biswas, popular actor inaugurated the workshop. Jhuna Choudhury, secretary general of BGTF was present at the inauguration.
With Kushtia general secretary of the BGTF Mokhlesur Rahman Babu in the chair, the discussion was addressed by, among others, federation's central finance secretary Shah Alam Dulal as chief guest; while Amirul Islam general secretary, Kushtia Shilpakala Academy, drama personality Zinna Haque and president of Parimol Theatre in Kushtia advocate Akhteruzzaman Masum spoke as special guests.
After the workshop, certificates were distributed among the participants.
A drama was also staged on the closing day. Participants of the workshop took part in the play. A total of 44 drama activists of 13 organisations in Khulna division took part in the workshop.
BGTF handed over a cheque of Taka 1 lakh to theatre personality, Zinna who is suffering from cancer.
